We have new opportunities for two Regional Business Development (BD) Associates to support the business development and marketing initiatives of our regional offices in southeastern (Phoenixville) and northeastern (Wilkes-Barre) PA.
The BD associates will have a dual reporting role to our Marketing Manager and respective Regional Vice Presidents and will be expected to understand our services, strategy, and regional competition then provide input on the design, creation, and delivery of marketing programs that will best support the growth and expansion of Isett’s regional offices.
As part of the marketing team:
Develop and edit written promotional material, brochures, resumes, and biographies ensuring a high quality of expression.
Contribute to the company’s online/electronic presence, such as website, social media accounts, blogs, etc.
Continually assesses competition to insure marketing plan is continually effective and competitive.
Keep staff informed of marketing techniques for use in presentations.
Critique presentations, as requested.
Maintain library of project photographs.
Track leads that come in and follow until they become a job or are awarded to another firm.
As it relates to business development:
Gather project- and related firm data required for organizing, writing, and producing proposals.
Understand the key aspects of the RFP, assemble qualifications materials, research the client, gain comprehensive understanding so the proposal can be better targeted to the audience.
Develop relationships with regional media sources to drive publicity/branding, meet and frees, and represent the company in professional organizations.
Identify and coordinate attendance/sponsorship opportunities at regional networking events, conferences, and regional community functions.
Develop relationships with regional counterparts (including architects, engineering firms, and construction managers).
Identify and pursue strategic/relevant business opportunities.
Handle general sponsorship and promotional requests from clients, consultants, contractors, etc.
Prepare work projections based upon number and size of projects currently selling and past success/failure ratio.
Degree in Marketing, Journalism, (Strategic) Communications, Business Administration, or related program.
Experience responding to RFPs and preparing proposals.
Ability to communicate via different mediums.
Ability to work with different personalities, overcome barriers, and identify solutions.
Ability to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
Involvement in community, business, and/or social organizations.
Ability to attend networking/business development events outside of normal business hours.
Valid driver’s license.
