Many people regard the Cathedral Church of the Nativity as a Bethlehem landmark, standing as it does at the foot of the Hill-to-Hill Bridge. The original portion dates to 1863, with additions in keeping with the Gothic Revival style built in 1887. Over the years, the church campus has grown to include three buildings that serve both the congregation and community. BIA provided structural engineering design in the restoration of the church's bell tower and later provided a comprehensive property condition assessment of the complex. The report included photographs to illustrate its findings and provided a guideline for proactive facilities maintenance of a historic landmark with a repair schedule and costs for short-term and long-term issues.
