LVIP Office Building, Stabler Center, Bethlehem, PA - Liberty Property Trust

BIA provided Liberty Property Trust with a variety of fast-track services for the LVIP Office Building, a $10 million, 75,000-square foot, three-story office building.  

In addition to Structural engineering design for the architectural firm of Spillman Farmer, our engineering services included: 

  • Preparation of an ALTA/ACSM survey
  • Wetland delineation and permitting
  • Preparation of geologic studies
  • Preparation of sketch plans showing a variety of building footprints and other options
  • Preparation of land development plans based upon selected sketch plan
  • Preparation of grading plans
  • Preparation of Erosion & Sedimentation Control plans
  • Managing approval process

This 75,000-square foot speculative office building in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania has been certified Silver under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Core & Shell Rating System. Completed in 2006, some of the sustainable features of this building include showers within the building and bicycle parking outside. Potable water usage is expected to be reduced by between 30 and 40% compared to a typical building this size which means lower energy costs for the tenants.

The LVIP Office Building is also recognized by the United States Enviromental Protection Agency as an Energy/STAR building, designating its energy efficiency among the top 25% of similar office buildings.
