This construction project reconfigured the athletic fields to maximize the useful available space. The project included extensive site improvements to accommodate new fields and tennis courts and utility service for lighting. BIA provided project coordination on behalf of the school district, scheduling construction activities to have the least impact possible on the academic routine. We also provided construction observation and reports, as well as quality assurance. The construction phase began in April 2002, with substantial completion by the end of August. The first scheduled home game took place October 4. Other BIA projects for the school district include structural and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs for classroom additions to the middle school, upgrades to the mechanical and electrical systems in the district's administrative building, and engineering design in the conversion of a former elementary school into a new administration building.
