As a consultant to Bonsall Shafferman Architects & Space Planners, BIA provided site design and structural engineering services in the development of a 13,000 SF, single-story, ambulatory surgery center. BIA began the project with a survey of the approximately 4-acre site, which was designed to allow for future expansion of an MRI building and a medical office building. The facility includes six operating rooms, two treatment rooms, pre-operative and post-operative recovery areas and large reception areas. The Surgical Center includes 20 private inpatient rooms.
