New Main Entrance/21st Street Infill Addition
As a consultant to W2A, BIA provided civil engineering services for a series of interrelated projects at Easton Hospital. The 26,800 SF new addition housed the registration and administration suite on the first floor; surgical areas, including three new operating rooms, a pre-op suite, doctors’ lounge and surgery waiting area, plus a chapel on the second floor; and mechanical and loading docks at the ground level. The project required the closure of 21st Street to accommodate the building’s new footprint. The $30 million project featured an expanded surgery department, a new main entrance, and a new parking deck.
Linear Accelerator Addition
As a consultant to W2A, BIA provided civil engineering services for the addition to the existing hospital that accommodates a TomoTherapy Hi-Art Linear Accelerator. The project included: new entry/waiting room, toilet room, control area, linear accelerator room and site work modifications.
