The multi-discipline engineering firm Barry Isett & Associates, Inc. has opened an office at 150 Wells Street, Forty Fort, PA.
“We have seen tremendous growth in northeast Pennsylvania,” says company president Kevin T. Campbell, P.E., LEED AP. “Our Forty Fort office affords greater convenience to our clients in the greater Wilkes-Barre/Scranton metro area. Gregg Pavlick, who has been instrumental in developing the Hazleton area market, will also manage the Forty Fort office.”
The company provides code support to almost 40 municipalities including Dallas Borough, Harvey’s Lake Borough, Plymouth Township, Salem Township, Shickshinny Borough and Union Township.
Local projects of note include the structural engineering design in the expansion of Scandlon Gymnasium at Kings College, structural, mechanical and plumbing design of renovations at the Wilkes Barre Veterans Administration Medical Center and engineering design for the team offices for the Wilkes Barre Penguins.
Isett’s services include: municipal engineering; code services; civil, structural, forensic, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering; landscape design; construction inspection; survey services; environmental services; and construction services.
Founded by Barry E. Isett, P.E., P.L.S. in 1977 in the Lehigh Valley, the company has other Pennsylvania offices in Allentown, Hazleton and Phoenixville as well as a branch in Phillipsburg, NJ. Isett is a privately held firm owned jointly by Mr. Isett, a consortium of about 35 shareholder-associates, and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
