James Bonczek joined Barry Isett & Associates, Inc. in 2006 to manage the information technology system of the multi-discipline engineering firm. He is responsible for the strategic planning and expansion of IT services and budgets across five offices supported by an enterprise network consisting of 125 desktops and 30 servers, both virtual and physical. Project highlights include: Data Center Migration; Application deployments (AutoCAD, MS Office, Symantec Antivirus, and others); System Imaging using Windows Deployment Services; Symantec Ghost and MS ImageX; Server OS Upgrades; Server Deployments; EMC Celerra and VNXe Deployments for VMWare Infrastructure; VMWare P2V Consolidation; VMWare Host and Client Upgrades; Office Site Relocations; Office Merger Integrations; Equipment; and Firmware Upgrades. Prior to joining Isett he headed his own IT firm; previously he was the systems administrator for another architectural and engineering firm.
With the 2014 opening of Isett’s Wyoming Valley office Mr. Bonczek’s duties expanded to include the role of office manager of the Forty Fort branch, responsible for business development and administrative functions. Later that year, he was selected to further serve as the Corporate Secretary. Mr. Bonczek is a company shareholder.
A member of the 2015 Class of Leadership Wilkes-Barre, he is an active member of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce. Volunteer activities include participation in the Leadership Wilkes-Barre Alumni Council, Wyoming Valley River Fest in Wilkes Barre, and has previously been a youth soccer coach with Plains Soccer.
