John W. Carson joined the Building Services Division of Barry Isett and Associates in 2006 after accruing a decade of experience that featured assignments at several Lehigh Valley high-profile projects. The combination of Mr. Carson’s academic and work experience gives Isett added flexibility in the areas of architectural assistance; construction site supervision and management; document retention; and permit handling and review. His project experience includes mold remediation and asbestos abatement. He coordinates Isett’s engineering teams in multi-disciplinary projects.
As the Owner’s Representative on a variety of projects, Mr. Carson served as a direct extension of owner’s staff to facilitate the successful completion of construction projects, including the compliance with regulations, permit requirements, owner preferences and document retention. His understanding of projects is thorough and comprehensive from providing assistance in consultant selection to achieving successful project completion.
Direct responsibility for the oversight of construction projects ranging in size from a few thousand to tens of millions of dollars has enabled Mr. Carson to expand his services to all areas of residential; institutional; commercial; and historic structures and properties. He is well-versed in code enforcement and inspection requirements and brings value engineering and effective cost tracking strategies to the projects on which he serves. Prior to joining Isett, Mr. Carson was a Resident Project Engineer with D’Huy Engineering, Inc. in Bethlehem and earlier served as a Project Manager with Becker & Frondorf, Philadelphia. Mr. Carson is a company shareholder.
