Brandon Trate, joined the Environmental Department of Barry Isett and Associates, Inc. in 2005, where he performed Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Carbonate Geology Studies, Sinkhole Assessments and Remediation, Hydrogeologic Studies, Well Installations, GIS Mapping, and Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Permit preparations. He was also responsible for providing oversight of Underground Storage Tank Removals and repairs to damaged structures with Isett’s Forensic engineers.
In 2014, he took over the management of Isett’s Construction Inspections Group when it moved under the umbrella of the Structural Engineering Department. Construction Inspections are mandated by the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code, concerning elements that are critical to the safety of the structure, such as: the foundation, steel framing details, and concrete placement. Early in his tenure in this position he set up Isett’s own materials testing facility. Mr. Trate is responsible for coordinating projects and staff, developing new business opportunities, as well as conducting inspections. His environmental background informs this position, having worked extensively with subsurface conditions and earthwork projects. Mr. Trate is a company shareholder.
