Bloomsburg Area School District boasts a brand-new, multi-purpose stadium that will be a wonderful asset and home to many of its athletic teams. While Isett has provided various engineering, project-management, and construction services on similar multi-purpose stadiums across Eastern Pennsylvania, in this instance, our Code Services team played an integral role in getting Bloomsburg Area’s stadium ready for use.
Isett Code Services personnel reviewed, commented on, and ultimately approved the stadium plans submitted by the school district, and performed the Uniform Construction Code (UCC) and floodplain inspections at the site on behalf of the Town of Bloomsburg. Isett’s team of professional floodplain managers and code specialists assisted the stadium design team in navigating the many FEMA and PEMA mandates for a project of this magnitude. Isett personnel also had to consider other significant factors, including the construction of a floodwall surrounding the new stadium and nearby school renovations, while working on the project.
