On Thursday, July 25, Isett associates spent the morning with Trellis for Tomorrow learning about the many disciplines and knowledge of Barry Isett & Associates. Mary Himmelberger, Grants Manager, explained to the students her role in the Isett team and how grants can positively impact communities. Next, Alex Ulmer, Isett’s Chief Environmental Scientist, reveiwed environmental engineering and his son, Erik, shared his perspective as an Isett summer intern. Karl Leitner from Isett’s Civil Engineering department showed the group some before and after photos of his civil projects and what they entailed.
Rob Bickelman followed with his experience in Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) design and how closely his team has to work together to complete a project. Following Rob was Mike Eversole who shared project examples from start to finish in Isett’s Project Management and Construction Services (PMCS) group. Lastly, Andy Munas showcased his experiences in our Forensic department, working with sinkholes, collapses, impacts, and deterioration.
