Isett was the hole and t-shirt sponsor for the 4th Annual Latoff MS Foundation Golf Tournament at the Sugarloaf Golf Course. We had two associates and their families volunteer at the Isett tent on the 17th green: Tina Merli and Roy Ackerman. If a golfer got a hole-in-one at the “Isett hole”, the golfer would win a car. (Sadly, no one got a hole-in-one.) Free shirts, food, and beverages were provided to volunteers as they watched for a hole-in-one and handed out beverages to golfers.
The Latoff MS Foundation was established by John DeCusatis and his friend David Latoff. The foundation provides assistance to members of the Hazleton community that are suffering from Multiple Sclerosis by providing medical supplies and goods, furnishings, and furniture. They also provide compassionate care and support for families and individuals dealing with MS through regular group meetings where attendees share their personal experiences and offer emotional and moral support. They also provide a college scholarship to students who have been touched by MS in their lives.
