Isett’s own Chris Williams has been selected as one of this year’s Forty Under 40 honorees by Lehigh Valley Business. Forty Under 40 recognizes professionals 40 years of age and younger who have been successful in the Greater Lehigh Valley area. Honorees, chosen by the Lehigh Valley Business editors, were selected based on professional accomplishments, community service and commitment to inspiring change.
Chris has been part of Isett’s Civil Engineering team since his days pursuing an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at West Virginia University. He spent three summers as an intern before joining as a full-time associate in 2007. Since then, Chris has taken on additional responsibilities within the department and was named Operations Manager this year. He was also elected by fellow Isett shareholders in 2020 to serve a three-year term on the Isett Board of Directors.
Outside of his professional work, Chris has been a dedicated member of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (LV PSPE), having held the role of Secretary since 2011 and supported their Scholarship Committee since 2018. He was recognized as a Distinguished Friend of the Chapter in 2019 for his many years of service to the Lehigh Valley MATHCOUNTS program. This annual event brings together between 200 to 300 middle school students for a math competition and is not possible without the assistance of countless volunteers. The event’s success can be attributed to his role as MATHCOUNTS volunteer coordinator since 2012.
Chris, along with his fellow awardees will be recognized by Lehigh Valley Business on September 8th.
