Dayna Edelman Recognized as a 2026 Women of Influence Honoree

Barry Isett & Associates proudly recognizes Dayna Edelman, SHRM-CP, Learning and Development Specialist, for being named a 2026 Women of Influence honoree by Lehigh Valley Business.

Dayna received this prestigious honor during the Women of Influence awards celebration held on May 6, 2026, at DeSales University in Center Valley. The program recognizes high-achieving women across the region for their professional accomplishments, community impact, and commitment to mentoring the next generation of leaders.

A Leader in Learning and Development

Dayna joined Barry Isett & Associates in 2020 as the firm’s first Talent Manager, a role that marked a significant step forward in the company’s human resources strategy. From the outset, she defined and led initiatives that strengthened recruiting, onboarding, and professional development across the organization.

She quickly demonstrated her ability to evaluate and implement technology solutions, leading the successful adoption of the firm’s learning management system and later guiding a transition to a more comprehensive platform. Her work enhanced how associates access training, build skills, and grow within the organization.

In her current role as Learning and Development Specialist, Dayna continues to elevate Isett’s internal programs. She partnered with company leadership to design and deliver a six-part Leadership Training Program, engaging nearly 50 associates across two cohorts. She also helped launch the “Isett NEXT” initiative, supporting the development of emerging leaders.

Driving Growth and Opportunity

Dayna’s impact extends beyond formal training programs. She developed Isett’s internship program, creating meaningful learning experiences for students while introducing them to careers in engineering and consulting. She also played a key role in expanding recruiting and onboarding systems, improving the candidate experience and streamlining internal processes.

Her leadership has been especially impactful in advancing opportunities for women in the industry. Dayna researched and developed a pilot mentorship program for women at Isett, which launched in spring 2025 and is positioned for broader expansion. She also helped organize companywide International Women’s Day initiatives, bringing associates together for learning, connection, and growth.

“Dayna brings creativity, passion, and a strategic mindset to everything she does,” said Kimberli Kyra, PHR, SHRM-CP, Human Resources Director. “She consistently generates forward-thinking ideas and has significantly advanced our training and development efforts while supporting the growth of our people.”

A Commitment to Community

Beyond her work at Isett, Dayna actively gives back to the community. She participates in college advisory boards, conducts mock interviews, and coordinates job shadowing opportunities to help students explore career paths and build confidence as they enter the workforce.

Her dedication to mentoring and professional development, both within the company and throughout the Lehigh Valley, reflects the core values celebrated by the Women of Influence program.

A Well-Deserved Recognition

The Women of Influence awards recognize leaders who excel professionally, contribute meaningfully to their communities, and invest in mentoring others. Dayna’s leadership, innovation, and commitment to helping others succeed make her a standout among this year’s honorees.

Barry Isett & Associates congratulates Dayna on this well-deserved recognition and celebrates the impact she continues to make across the organization and throughout the community.
