Hazleton Chamber Names Isett ‘Healthy Workplace of the Year’

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce, at its annual Business and Community Awards event on Nov. 19, announced Isett as its “Healthy Workplace of the Year.”

The award helps publicly promote the importance of a healthy workplace by recognizing a business or organization within Greater Hazleton that is adopting wellness programs, according to the chamber. Nomination applications are scored on program strength, results, and creativity of the business’ workplace wellness initiatives, the chamber said.

“To win this award in any year is an honor, but in 2020 when health is at the forefront of our lives, it means something more,” said Gregg Pavlick, vice president of Isett’s Northeast Pennsylvania Region, which includes the firm’s Hazleton office. “COVID-19 changed everything, including how we work. However, it didn’t change the commitment of Barry Isett & Associates to the health of its employees. In fact, the pandemic highlighted and validated everything we had done correctly. All our healthy workplace initiatives proved their worth.”
