Isett’s Adopt A Highway Cleanup

Isett team members recently participated in the semi-annual cleanup of our adopted highway, a one-mile section of Chapmans Road between Blue Barn Road and Route 309 in Allentown near the company headquarters. Kelly Raines, Matthew Vega, Jim Mazeika, James Kugel, and Mike Keller helped out in the June event. Previous cleanup events were held in the spring and fall of 2022 with different teams of volunteers lending a hand. In total, 11 large bags of trash and additional large debris was collected from the one-mile stretch of road.

PennDOT’s Adopt A Highway is a volunteer program that assists with highway-related beautification efforts, primarily focused on cleaning up trash and debris along the roadway, with at least two pickup events per year.
