Values in Action | Joshua Lovett

Barry Isett & Associates (Isett) is proud to recognize Joshua Lovett, PE, as our April Values in Action award winner. A member of our Forensics team, Joshua demonstrates what it means to lead with ownership, service, and technical excellence.

Responding When It Matters Most

When Penbrook Borough contacted Isett with concerns about a potentially unsafe structure, Joshua took immediate action. Within a day, he was onsite assessing the building and determining whether it posed an imminent risk.

The situation required both technical expertise and clear communication. The Borough’s newly appointed Building Code Official faced a challenging scenario, especially with the structure still occupied. Joshua provided calm, professional guidance while delivering a thorough assessment.

His quick response helped bring clarity to a stressful situation and ensured the Borough could take informed next steps.

Client Feedback Reflects Strong Service

Just one day after his visit, the Building Code Official shared positive feedback about Joshua’s work:

“I want to express my sincere appreciation to Barry Isett & Associates and Joshua Lovett for the work he did in Penbrook. Josh was fantastic to work with. He was professional and did a great job explaining items to myself and the property owners. He was honest and upfront with the gravity of the situation, which was greatly appreciated. I look forward to working with the Isett Engineering team in the future.”
