Steady progress is being made on the construction of Lanark Commons-a three-story medical office building-on Route 309 and Lanark Road in Center Valley. The building sits on top of a 270-foot-long colored/patterned concrete retaining wall, which was part of Isett’s structural design: we also designed the building’s steel frame structure and foundations.
Members of our Construction and Materials Testing Department have been on-site for all the section pours of the retaining wall, as well as the slab-on-grade pour for the first floor and the slab-on-deck pours for the second and third floors. Other services we performed include pad fill compaction testing, masonry testing, and soil bearing testing. St. Luke’s will be a primary tenant of the medical office building.
