Jennifer Potter, PG, leads the Environmental Consulting Department at Barry Isett & Associates. She joined Isett’s Capital Region office in 2020, bringing 20 years of project management and investigation experience in the geotechnical engineering industry. This experience includes preparing geotechnical investigations, reports, and recommendations; conducting test location layouts, test borings, and test pit loggings; and preparing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. During the course of her career, she has conducted numerous karst assessments, fracture trace analysis, forensic analysis of structure failures, insurance claims, and sinkhole remediation—including designing compaction grouting programs.
Prior to joining Isett, she served as a Director and Assistant Director, responsible for managing and mentoring a staff of 13 professionals. At Isett, Ms. Potter develops and manages multi-discipline projects—communicating with clients, contractors, and the professional staff. Along with her focus on Environmental Consulting, she works closely with the Geotechnical Engineering and Forensic Building Investigation departments and assists with Isett’s Construction Materials Testing services.
