Kevin T. Campbell, PE, LEED AP, joined Barry Isett & Associates, Inc. (Isett) in 2005 after an extensive 21-year career in the optoelectronics industry. Originally brought on to manage the operations of a rapidly growing family business, Mr. Campbell implemented discipline-focused profit centers and drove financial accountability and teamwork across multiple office locations. Mr. Campbell was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2008 and rose to President and CEO in 2011, overseeing 10% annual revenue growth; the formation of new departments and disciplines; and numerous successful mergers and acquisitions for the company.
With an educational background that includes a B.S. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, as well as a M.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A. from Lehigh University, Mr. Campbell brings an invaluable perspective and skillset that is both technical and business operations focused. Having spent his prior career in much larger corporate environments, he has also been able to bring the lessons learned and positive aspects of that world to Isett, while allowing the company to maintain its healthy workplace culture.
Isett is a company principally owned by its staff through an Employee Stock Ownership Program and more than 65 associate-shareholders. Mr. Campbell is a company shareholder.
Under his leadership, Isett has earned recognition as one of the Best Places to Work in PA for 2022, 2021, 2020, and 2019; a Morning Call Top Workplace annually since 2013; and the Societas Award for Responsible Corporate Conduct in 2015, presented by the Forum for Ethics in the Workplace.
Mr. Campbell has personally been recognized as Engineer of the Year by the PA Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE), Executive of the Year by Lehigh Valley Business, and the Power 30 list for most influential construction & real estate professionals in the greater Lehigh Valley region.
A former president of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of PSPE, he has coordinated the Lehigh Valley MATHCOUNTS® competition for many years and was the overall PA State coordinator in 2018 and 2019. Mr. Campbell currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Forum for Ethics in the Workplace; the Advisory Board for Northampton Community College’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship; the Foundation Board of Northampton Community College; and previously served as Chair of the Volunteer Challenge for the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley.
