At Barry Isett & Associates (Isett), our Values in Action program recognizes associates who consistently demonstrate the core values that define our culture. We are proud to recognize Brett Johnson as our September Values in Action winner, celebrating his commitment to Service and Team.
Brett exemplifies these values through his willingness to help others and step up whenever support is needed. Whether he’s moving heavy equipment, assisting with event setup and cleanup, or tackling unexpected tasks around the office, Brett is always ready to lend a hand.
A Team-First Mindset
Some of Brett’s most meaningful contributions happen behind the scenes.
When an urgent issue recently arose outside the scope of his role and department, Brett and colleague Declan Thompson stepped in to help resolve it. Their willingness to take action ensured the issue was addressed quickly and effectively.
It’s this selfless approach that makes Brett such a valued member of the Isett team. He doesn’t look for recognition. Instead, he focuses on helping others and doing what’s needed to support his coworkers.
Supporting Clients and Colleagues
As Operations Manager for the Lehigh Valley Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) team, Brett oversees project management and coordination while supporting regional laboratory operations as needed.
He manages much of the work performed in our testing laboratory and regularly conducts onsite inspections alongside his team. His current projects include:

- Lehigh University’s East Hill Dormitory
- Steel Ice Expansion in Bethlehem
- American Refining Group’s Central Heating Plant in Bradford
Brett’s technical expertise and hands-on approach help deliver successful outcomes for clients throughout the region.

While Brett’s professional accomplishments are impressive, it is his character that stands out most to those who work with him.
His coworkers describe him as dependable, supportive, and always willing to help. Whether the task is large or small, Brett approaches it with a positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork.

What Brett Enjoys About Isett
When asked what he enjoys most about working at our firm, Brett highlighted the company’s culture.
“I enjoy the mom-and-pop feel of a company as large as Isett.”
He also appreciates the hands-on nature of construction quality assurance work, particularly laboratory testing, coring, and sampling.
