It’s the 7th year The Morning Call has held this event and Isett is one of only four companies to have been on the list each year! The competition to be on this list is clearly increasing. Last night was a completely sold out event at the ArtsQuest Center, including every single table on the upper balcony.
There were three categories based on the number of Lehigh Valley employees: Small (34-124), Medium (124-499) and Large (500+). We were one of twenty companies in the small category and ended up being ranked #8 in this group. I believe we came in at #9 last year, so small improvement in the ranking, however, the bar is being raised each year.
The results are only based on one thing – our responses to the survey and thank you to everyone that participated. The survey is also all encompassing in what it considers: values, culture, communication, confidence in the company and its leadership, trust, respect, pay, benefits, career opportunity, training, office environment, job responsibilities that are both challenging and make a difference, etc.
To be on this list for seven straight years is something we should all be proud of! As an employee owned company, it is up to all of us to define the culture and live the values each and every day.
