Upper Macungie Township Community Lifestyle Center
Project Information
Our Project Story
The new Upper Macungie Township Community Lifestyle Center, located within Grange Park, is poised to become signature destination in the Lehigh Valley. With a $48.5 million total project value encompassing 188,000 square feet, the facility features four interconnected buildings containing a full-length covered turf soccer field, indoor walking track, multi-purpose courts, classrooms, and flexible gathering areas for events and emergency shelter use. Watch a rendering video walkthrough of the new space.
The massive timber-frame structure, spanning 280 feet across, will be one of the largest of its kind in North America upon completion in summer 2026. Isett has provided comprehensive engineering and testing services for the project, including structural design for the building’s foundation; MEP/FP design for the building’s systems; subsurface investigation; geophysics and seismic study; construction stakeout; and special inspections/construction materials testing.
Sustainability is a core feature of the design, with the timber-frame structure offering a renewable, low-carbon alternative to traditional steel, and energy-efficient systems integrated throughout the facility. Isett is honored to help shape a space that fosters connection, wellness, and resilience, enriching the community we serve and improving the quality of life for Upper Macungie residents for generations to come.
“Upper Macungie Township residents will have an amenity like this that is going to be world-class. There is truly nothing else like it. It is so unique in scale and design.”
Laura McHugh, vice chairwoman of the township Community Fund
