On October 27th, members of the Isett team attended the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce‘s 21st Annual Business Community Awards event where Isett was honored to be recognized in Hazleton as the “Small Business of the Year”. Judging criteria for the award were based on four elements: staying power, growth, community contribution and overall management philosophy.
An employee-owned firm, Isett has long maintained a people-first company culture that promotes our four core values of Service, Team, Ownership and Balance while striving to provide high-quality engineering and consulting services. Now in its 45th year of operation, Isett has experienced a 40% growth in number of associates firm-wide over the past three years while maintaining an 8% turnover rate – much lower than industry average. Our newly opened office in Olyphant, PA further demonstrates our dedication to growing and expanding, not only for our clients but for the benefit of our employees and their work-life balance. Our leadership encourages all employees to be involved in their communities and also supports our regional communities on the firm’s behalf.
Looking back to our first small office in Hazleton from our current location spanning the entirety of the 11th floor of the Markle Building, Isett is proud to say that we have grown with the Hazleton community and we look forward to continuing to do so.
