Mills at Shepherdstown Groundbreaking

On August 24th, Barry Isett & Associates celebrated the groundbreaking of the Mills at Shepherdstown with Linlo Properties, TKS Architects, and several others who contributed to the kickoff of construction. The site, located at a prime intersection of Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County, was acquired by Linlo Properties in 2019, just before the beginning of the COVID pandemic. After halting construction for over two years, the project is now underway at high acceleration. The project includes a four-story, 63,100-square-foot and a 54,800-square-foot building featuring first floor retail space and three floors of luxury apartments. Additional features include a three story, 20,000-square-foot office building, gas station, restaurants, and a walking path surrounding the development connected to the neighboring church and municipal dog park.

Isett’s John Lewis, VP of Design, and Samantha Melhorn, Regional Marketing Manager, attended the event to celebrate the long-awaited groundbreaking! Since Isett’s Mechanicsburg office is located only a few minutes from this new development, the team was excited to be a part of this project. Isett served as a consultant of TKS Architects and provided MEP and Structural Engineering services.
