Ann Street Park
Project Information
Ann Street Park
Barry Isett & Associates provided landscape architecture services to support the multi‑phase improvement of Ann Street Park, focusing on safety, accessibility, and long‑term functionality within an active public park setting. The team evaluated existing site conditions and developed user‑focused design solutions to improve circulation, organization, and overall usability, while respecting the park’s character and considering long‑term maintenance needs.
Phase 1 of the project was funded by a $400,000 DCNR grant awarded in 2022, along with matching Borough funds. Isett’s coordinated landscape plans supported durable, visually appealing improvements that promote responsible stewardship of public resources. Grant funding has continued to play a critical role in advancing the park’s transformation. Phase 2, which will complete the playground, is fully funded through a $2 million LSA Statewide grant awarded in 2024 and an additional DCNR grant received in 2025, secured with the support of Isett’s grants team. Construction later this year will add playground equipment for children ages 2–5, ground‑level play features, and swings.
In 2025, Isett also partnered with the Milford Enhancement Committee to envision future improvements to the park’s central promenade. The team prepared a rendered plan and 3D visualizations illustrating how the promenade will connect park amenities and enhance the overall experience. The promenade and a new restroom facility with storage are planned as Phase 3 improvements, further strengthening Ann Street Park as a cohesive, welcoming community destination.
