When the Bethany United Methodist Church sustained a three-alarm fire and associated water damage in November 2019, the congregants were dedicated to rebuilding their sanctuary. Isett was engaged as a consultant to HEMMLER + CAMAYD on the 6,500-square-foot fire damage assessment and repair, located in Milton Borough, Northumberland County, PA.
Members of Isett’s Civil, MEP, and Survey teams contributed to the restoration of this historic building. Construction began approximately a year after the fire, and Poole Anderson Construction of State College served as the project’s main contractor. The sanctuary reopened in August to welcome back church members.
