Steve Landis – Values in Action

Demonstrating our Service and Ownership values—and winner for March—is MEP’s Steve Landis! Steve is the Operations Manager for our Electrical team, and since taking on this position, he has been managing the team to ensure project workload is distributed evenly and in an organized fashion. He assists the designers and staff engineers with their electrical designs and works with our clients to secure additional projects. With the MEP Department being so busy, Steve has also stepped in to be the project manager on numerous projects. He works tirelessly to get the job done and ensures all plans are finalized. Some recent projects include work for the Hazleton Area School District Arts and Humanities Academy and Hazle Township Early Learning Center, as well as a large distribution warehouse facility for Burlington Coat Factory in New Jersey.
Steve is truly humbled just for the nomination, let alone being the overall monthly winner. He would like to give a shoutout to the MEP team for their efforts over the last three months as the department has been extraordinarily busy since the beginning of the year and had some changes that affected the entire team, making one of our key values of maintaining a work/life balance a bit more challenging. It’s been great working with everyone on the team and in general, Steve has enjoyed working with people who genuinely care about the company and who are willing to offer assistance to get the job done—that is something he hasn’t experienced anywhere else in his career. Steve also loves seeing a completed project and knowing that he was part of the team who made it possible.
