Professional Engineer (PE)

Greg R. Decker, PE, HCI-R/C, leads the Forensic Building Investigation Department as Isett. He joined the Delaware Valley office in 2023 with experience performing on-site inspections related to insurance claims and litigation cases. His expertise includes identifying damage related to building envelope design and construction defects; fire, impact, and other structural damage; as well as jobsite incidents and OSHA compliance. Mr. Decker is a certified EIFS Industry Professional, and a Haag Certified Inspector for residential roofs and commercial roofs.

Isett’s Forensics team performs assessments on a wide range of buildings and is experienced in preparing contract documents and written specifications for proposed work. The department’s reports include detailed descriptions of their findings, recommendations, and opinions of probable construction costs to remedy deficiencies. Property Condition Assessments are based on ASTM International’s “Standard Guide for Property Condition Assessments: Baseline Property Condition Assessment Process.”  The Forensics Department provides 24/7 response in emergency conditions at the request of insurance companies, construction firms, and project owners.
