James Kugel, PE, joined Barry Isett & Associates, Inc. (Isett) in 2019 and was named head of the Geotechnical Engineering Department in 2023. In his current role, Mr. Kugel is responsible for all geotechnical operations and the supervision the department staff.
Operational responsibilities include resource management, quality control, business development, and supervision of department staff. Technical responsibilities include project management, field investigations, construction oversight, and providing recommendations for geotechnical design parameters. Mr. Kugel has extensive experience providing engineering support on heavy construction projects.
