Kicking off 2024, our Values in Action winner for January is Hung Nguyen. As a member of our Code Inspection & Plan Review Department, Hung provides plan review support to the team; conducts inspections; and handles customer service, maintaining open communication regarding zoning and building codes. He is a great asset to the team: thorough and precise with an unparalleled dedication to his work. He also has an infectious personality that makes him a pleasure to work with. Hung is currently working with Talen Energy (PPL) on more data centers and has been attending meetings and reviewing plans for two proposed solar farms totaling 16 million dollars in Salem Township.
What does he like most about his work? He enjoys being able to contribute to the company’s success by focusing on the customers—they are not just the clients to him. Hung likes building personal and professional relationships with them, as well as with his colleagues. He sees the job through a customer service lens: without our customers, we wouldn’t be successful, and his main focus is to assist the customers in achieving their goals within the scope of the codes. Hung also enjoys the flexible work environment and the autonomy to make educated decisions with the support of the team.
